Shelter Slumber Pawty
Spend 24 hours “pawtying” with shelter pets, and save lives while you do it.
Eat, sleep, and spend one unforgettable day alongside shelter dogs and cats while raising funds and awareness for New Leash On Life.
What Is a Slumber Pawty?
The Shelter Slumber Pawty is a collaborative fundraising event that brings together animal welfare organizations to raise funds and awareness.

During the Slumber Pawty, participants spend 24 hours at the shelter, living side-by-side with the dogs and cats. You’ll be paired near animal housing areas, follow staff guidance, and use your time to help amplify the voices of pets who are still waiting for their families.

While fundraising is a big part of the pawty, the heart of this event is visibility: for 24 hours, shelter pets have an advocate, and the shelter’s work is showcased throughout the community. Who knows, a dog or cat might even find a forever home!
