The NLOL Pet Adoption Center is the longest-standing operation of the NLOL family. Each year, we we're able to touch the lives of hundreds of companion animals that, through no choice or fault of their own, were in need of our care.
We acknowledge the limited resources available to many community members who can no longer care for their dog or cat. The Adoption Center is typically one of the only alternatives for those seeking a safe-haven for their animal.

At New Leash On Life, we love connecting people with their future furry family members. To make your visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible, please review the information below before your visit.

The New Lease On Life Adoption Center is open for walk-in visitors. However, we encourage you to schedule an appointment in advance, as appointments will receive priority when visiting the facility. Schedule an appointment by emailing info@newleashonline.com or call 615-444-1144.

Our Adoption Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.​

If you’re not sure which pet you’d like to meet, no worries! We have an adoption book in our lobby featuring photos and bios of all our available dogs. You can browse through and let our staff know who catches your heart.
To help us find your perfect match, we encourage you to call or email ahead with a few details, such as the personality, age range, or activity level you’re looking for. Our team loves playing matchmaker and will help you connect with a pet who fits your lifestyle.

Our goal is to make every visit a positive, stress-free experience, for both you and the animals in our care. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for both our guests and the animals in our care.
Additional Services​
Paw Pantry Program
The Paw Pantry remains available for community members in need. After checking in, participants should return to their vehicle while our staff brings pet food or supplies directly to them.
Curbside Assistance
If you are at risk or unable to enter the building, please check in at the lobby, and our team will gladly bring information, food, or other items out to your vehicle.
