One of our many important volunteer opportunities with New Leash on Life is our Cat Team. It is made up of volunteers that care for the cats at the PetSmart store located in Mt. Juliet. Without this team we would not be able to adopt as many cats and kittens as we do. Thanks to the dedicated volunteers of the Cat Team over 124 cats were adopted in 2010 and 68 so far this year have found their forever homes through the Luv-A-Pet Adoption Center at PetSmart.

Would you like to volunteer, knowing that your time and love is saving lives and helping place deserving cats and kittens into the homes they’ve longed for? New Leash on Life is looking for volunteers to help care for our cats in the Luv-a-Pet Adoption Center, located inside PetSmart, Providence Marketplace, Mt. Juliet.  

We currently need AM volunteers (arrive between 7:00-7:45 a.m., done by 9:00 a.m.) and PM volunteers (arrive between 5:00-6:30 pm). You can volunteer for one shift a week, a month, cover that shift all month, alternate AM & PM or be a fill in volunteer when regular volunteers are on vacation or need coverage for their regular shift. . . . the possibilities are endless and flexible!  

It takes only about an hour to and hour and a half of your time once a week, once every two weeks or once a month to make a difference in these cats lives.
